Halina Edwards (b. 1996 in Kingston, Jamaica), is a conceptual textile artist based in London. Exploring notions of ancestral thought, belonging and memory, Edward’s practice moves within installation, often using materials like nylon, wood, cotton, silk, leatherette, bamboo and string.
Her artistic collaborations have seen her work within fashion and with cultural organisations on commissions and workshops, such as GANNI, Flock Together, A Vibe Called Tech, Uniqlo, HOME by Ronan Mckenzie and V&A East.
